Solenoid Valves
Canadian Gas Safety 110vac gas solenoid valves control the flow of natural and LP (liquefied petroleum) gases and are most commonly used with our range of utility controls and gas detection systems. Popular applications are science laboratories, commercial kitchens, boiler rooms & decorative gas features. Our gas solenoid valves are tested and certified to UL, Normally Closed, Safety Shut-Off valves with a max close time of 1 second and 0-5Psi pressure ratings.
Emergency Shut Down
The CGS emergency shutoff buttons are rated for increased longevity, reliability, and consistency. The buttons will de-energize the normally closed gas solenoid valves for immediate isolation of the gas supply. The buttons are equipped with a manual reset twist-release mechanism to ensure the fuel supply remains off until the emergency condition clears. The CGS gas solenoid valves (CGSGSV) are normally closed, and UL listed as an emergency fuel gas shutoff valve. Mechanical / Boiler Room Protection
If there is a dangerous build-up of gas or unsafe levels of carbon monoxide at the sensor, We have solutions that can shut off the gas supply via a gas safety valve and/or a gas fire appliance. A code requirement in various states in the U.S.
